Monica Petrucci, Kitchen and Cooking Editor at Reviewed, is looking for pitches:
We are looking to expand and diversify our freelancers in 2024!
BIPOC and LGBTQ+ writers who are knowledgable about and experienced in the cooking realm (bonus points if you have experience in product testing + reviewing) are encouraged to reach out/send pitches. Particularly interested in covering tentpoles like Black History/AAPI/Pride Month, but also interested in general assignments you're passionate about!
Are you a Grillmaster, Pizzaolo or other kitchen-related expert who wants to help us review and write about products? We want to hear from you! Rates differ depending on the assignment, starting anywhere around $250-$450. Pitches can be sent to mpetrucci@reviewed.com and please send 2-3 relevant published samples, as well as a resume/website. Use [New Freelancer] somewhere in subject line.

- Check out our collection of pitch excerpts on this page and find more sample pitches at The Open Notebook Database and at SuccessfulPitches.com.
- Do not forget to end your pitch with (1) a short introduction about yourself; (2) a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits; and (3) links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.
