Rainesford Stuffer, Editor at 100 Days in Appalachia, is looking for pitches:

For a 100 Days in Appalachia vertical, I'm taking pitches from writers ages 13-24 in the region. No prior experience required. Rates start at $200 for opinion, $300 for reporting, go up based on scope of work. Email a few lines about the idea: rainesford.alexandra@gmail.com

This is rolling, so pitch any time! But actively looking for April pieces. For reporting, we're interested in stories across themes and beats, as long as it connects to Appalachia and the experiences young people are having/issues they're thinking about or impacted by, etc.
