Remote Fundraising Journalist and Lead Writer wanted | $55 to $85 per hour

You possess a unique talent for leading storytelling initiatives, specializing in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with a wide audience, including donors, volunteers, and the general public. Your ability to produce significant fundraising content—ranging from grant proposals and appeal letters to conversion pages, speeches, and solicitation emails—sets you apart. As a skilled author, your strong analytical and reporting skills ensure you can meet tight deadlines while keeping an acute "nose for news."

You are adept at producing impactful fundraising content, including grant proposals, appeal letters, conversion pages, speeches, and solicitation emails. You craft compelling narratives for grant reports, organizational updates, and other materials. As the Editor of content produced in our client's innovation labs, you lead with impactful and informative content delivery. You maintain a dynamic internal knowledge bank, fostering continuous improvement and generating aspirational ideas for program narratives.

Your experience includes at least 3 years of journalism and field reporting, with a preference for involvement in working with movment organizations in the liberation ecosystem. You have excellent writing skills, an ability to analyze issues, and the capacity to develop frames and messages. You take initiative, coordinate projects effectively, and are deadline-oriented. Skilled at taking direction, you work collaboratively to advance the mission and goals of the organization.
