I am looking for a Cambodian writer based in the DC area who can attend the Cambodian New Year Celebration in Silver Spring, MD on April 13. You’d interview attendees, vendors, and entertainers and weave a personal narrative about the experience.
Also seeking a native Hawaiian writer who can attend the Merrie Monarch Royal Parade in Hilo on April 6 and write a narrative-style feature about the tradition + how it’s evolved over the decades.
Finally, I’m looking for a Chinese writer who can attend NYC’s Dragon Fest on April 6. You’d interview vendors, artists, chefs, and attendees and showcase what the event means to you and the community.
