Author Paul Murphy is looking for pitches for Gamebook Color:

I am looking for Game Boy Advance retro pitches. If you have a penchant for a certain game, and want to be in an upcoming book then drop me an email! Who loved the GBA and wants to write about it and its games?

I'm after games, love letters and nostalgic reminisces as I have down for the previous books. I'm also after takes on the hardware itself, and why it left an imprint on you. These are all personal retrospectives that will form a coffee table book dedicated to the GBA.

If this sounds like something for you, send me a short pitch outlining the game (or hardware) with what you would write about and why it was important to you. Previous examples of your work are appreciated too, but first time writers welcome too. It's the right feature I'm after.

Please don't send me full features at this point though, you are pitching an idea! Also don't use AI. I'll know, and it's both offensive to me and a waste of everyone's time. If you aren't sure how to pitch, message me.

Please send your pitches to me before 23:59 GMT on Friday 8th March 2024. I'll then spend the weekend going through them and will be in touch to the one(s) I like the most to commission before the end of next week.
