Writer wanted for digital marketing firm (various topics) | $300 to $500 per article/guide

We are looking for specialized experience in several topics. If you are an experienced writer with higher education or subject matter expertise, we would be interested in your work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write engaging content for guides, websites pages, rankings, and other editorial materials that align with our strategy
Ability to gather content and research topics for assignments
Research and interview subject matter experts
Ability to self-edit work
Formulate texts according to house style
Ability to handle multiple projects at once
DESIRED SKILLS:
Writing prose that is clear, informative, and engages readers
The ability to craft a strong narrative around a topic and take readers through that narrative well
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to follow outlines and in-depth assignment directions
Native English speaker
Advanced-degree holder
OPTIONS SKILLS:
Basic understanding of on-page search engine optimization (SEO) and keyword research
Basic knowledge of the higher education landscape and its students
DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree relevant to the responsibilities above, ideally in research- or writing-savvy discipline. Previously successful employees have had degrees in English, history, journalism, and business administration.
Experience working with Word and Dropbox, remote working tools
3+ years of experience creating content across a variety of mediums
Professional, sharp, and excellent communications skills
Close attention to detail while focusing on quality and results
Self-directed, motivated, and deadline-orientated
Based in the United States.
Employment Details: This is a freelance position.
Start date: Immediately
Compensation: $300-$500 on average per 2,000-3,000 word guide or article depending on whether the piece includes an expert interview. This is an average and may be slightly higher or lower depending on word count. If you have any questions about the compensation, please don't hesitate to ask.
