I am looking for pitches for under-reported issues from the province of Saskatchewan, specifically centering on issues that are important to poor folks, the working class, and Indigenous and other marginalized communities. We have opportunities for printed and online stories. $100-$300/article. We're willing to work with unpublished authors who have a strong idea they'd like to work with us on. Ideally writers will be residents of Saskatchewan, but anyone will connections/experience/understanding/etc. of the province is welcome to pitch. Send an email to: amielle@briarpatchmagazine.com.
