Copywriter wanted for digital marketing firm | $200 per article

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Alluvit Media is seeking a Copywriter to join our digital marketing team on a contract basis. The Copywriter will be responsible for producing 5 blog posts per month. They will report to and be assigned content topics by the Marketing Manager.

This is a 100% REMOTE contracted position that allows you to work on your own schedule. The Copywriter will be assigned topics and respective deadlines at the beginning of the month. Occasionally, the Copywriter may be assigned topics on a rolling basis with a typical turnaround of 5–7 days. The length of each blog post will depend on the topic (ranging anywhere from 650 to 2000 words) and is up to the Copywriter’s discretion. Please limit the use of AI writing tools.

The Copywriter will be paid $200 per blog post through the payroll management system Gusto.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Fluent in English

• Excellent writing and grammar skills

• Familiarity with SEO content best practices (including structuring, keyword usage, and links)

• Strong research and fact-checking skills to ensure accuracy and originality

• Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the higher education and/or healthcare niche

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Produce 5 blog posts per month on various healthcare education topics

• Create content that appeals to the target audience and aligns with brand voice

• Use Google Docs to deliver content

• Follow SEO best practices for content creation (checklist guide will be provided)

• Conduct thorough research and link to authoritative sources

• Perform one additional round of revisions if needed

• Keep an open line of communication with the Marketing Manager
