Please note that we are looking for senior freelance writers with 5+ years of experience. We are specifically looking for writers who have experience writing in a narrative, journalistic style and have B2B experience. We will evaluate applications based on the quality and alignment of samples against this criteria.
Here are some examples of stories in that style:
Unfortunately at this time, we won't consider any applications that don't include samples in this style. Examples of content styles that we frequently disqualify include:
Listicles — There's nothing wrong with a good list, but we rarely produce these or hire writers that write a lot of them.
Web copywriting — We love a good landing page, but we don't write copy for these for our clients.
Personal essays — This generally includes links from Medium, Substack, etc.
Articles that start with a question — For example "Are you looking to grow your small business?" Generally, these articles aren't narrative-driven.
RATES
We generally pay $0.50 per word or $50 per hour for projects, depending on how predictable the scope is. For ebooks, that means we pay between $1,200 and $2,000 per project. For blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership stories that means we pay $500-1,000 per article.
