Pitches wanted (politics, elections, etc.) | $200+ per article
Added 2024-07-16 15:07:07 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: 100 DAYS IN APPALACHIA
Rainesford Stuffer, Editor at 100 Days in Appalachia, is looking for pitches:
Paid writing opportunity: 100 Days in Appalachia is looking for politics-related pitches in the lead up to 2024 elections from writers in the region ages 13-24 for a youth vertical. Pay starts at $200 for opinion, $300+ for reporting. No previous experience needed. Just send a few lines of the idea and a little about yourself. Happy to help brainstorm ideas: rainesford.alexandra@gmail.com
And worth noting that "politics" is broad! Voting, political parties, local or national elections, barriers to young people voting, yes, but also how issues intersecting with politics and policies are impacting young people throughout the region, organizing work, etc. Have an idea that's not politics related? Would still love to hear about it.
