BEST PLACES TO GO IN 2025

We’re looking for pitches for our Best Places to Go in 2025 list. As in year’s past, we’re seeking a mix of international and domestic destinations that collectively represent the most compelling places to visit in the year ahead.

Each pitch should include the place name and 2 to 3 bullet points that include specific 2025 news pegs (openings, new flight routes, pop culture moments, visa changes, anniversaries, places disappearing/changing, an overwhelming sense of buzz, etc.). We are open to any place size, from a neighborhood to a country, depending on the amount of news. News pegs are essential—evergreen destination pitches will not be considered. Please check first that the destinations you’re pitching aren’t on our 2023 or 2024 lists (or flag if there’s a strong reason to reconsider). While we appreciate destinations with a mix of news, we are also interested in thematic framing (i.e., a destination with lots of food/outdoors/art/etc. news that might really jump out to a certain type of traveler).

Please also note that last year, for the first time, we ran a list of the best places to go on every continent, with the very best of those selected for inclusion on the “best places to go in the world” list. Taking advantage of the regional expertise of our global Condé Nast Traveler teams, assigning will be done by editors across the world. To that end, please direct your pitches, based on region, to the appropriate team:

The deadline for pitches is July 1, 2024. (We will make case-by-case considerations of pitches after this date, if they include news that breaks between July 1 and October 1.)
