OVERVIEW:
As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our organization's initiatives. You will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, and managing the grant application process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and identify potential grant opportunities for afterschool programs.
Write compelling grant proposals and applications to secure funding.
Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for grant applications.
Manage grant writing process, including deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.
Stay up-to-date on grant funding trends, best practices, and requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, nonprofit management, communications).
Proven experience in grant writing, specifically in the education or afterschool program sector.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of grant funding sources and processes.
PREFERRED SKILLS
