Laine Nooney, Managing Editor at ROMchip, is looking for pitches:
We're currently accepting pitches for a game history long read! Scope is 2.5K-4K piece suitable to ROMchip's Materials section (focus is close reads and object lessons on game history artifacts). Pay is $1000.
We're aiming to publish this commission in our December 2024 issue, which means we'll be aiming to have a writer selected by late summer. Submit by July 15 for earliest consideration, though the call may remain open past this date.
