At Storylake, an expert content specialist company, we are seeking a driven Sports Betting Journalist with comprehensive knowledge of various sports events and the betting process. This contract opportunity involves writing about sports betting apps, but is based on client demand. jobs in the past have paid ~$50 per hour, up to $350 per assignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process and record news and topics through articles on sports betting.
Monitor and update odds and payoff amounts regularly.
Provide customers with information and guidance on sports betting rules and strategies.
Write well-researched ~2000-word articles on general and sports-specific gambling topics (examples: New York Online Betting, New Jersey Best Betting Apps, Best MLB Betting, Best NFL Betting Sites).
Receives guidance and direction from clients in the functional area.
REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or higher is preferred.
Fundamental understanding of sports betting and associated concepts.
Understanding the rules and regulations of states in terms of sports betting.
Understanding various sports and organizations, including NFL, FIFA, NBA, MLB, etc.
The position requires 1-3 years of sports betting and sports journalism experience, with 2-3 previous bylined articles as examples.
Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge regarding the job's general aspects.
Works independently and consistently delivers deadlines at expected quality.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Social Media following is a plus.
