Writers wanted (ADHD, learning disabilities, productivity, etc.) | $300 to $750 per article

Jordan Davidson, Editorial Director at Understood, is looking for writers: 

We are looking for US-based freelance writers to cover topics related to adult women with ADHD. Topics span from hormonal health to productivity. We have topics to assign but are also open to pitches related to adult women and ADHD. We’re building out our freelance roster and are hoping to develop long-term relationships with freelancers who are passionate about topics related to neurodiversity and learning disabilities and have experience covering dense health and science topics and have experience with accessible writing practices.  

Especially interested in working with writers who have ADHD themselves. If you have lived experience and are comfortable sharing please let us know in your email. Rates: $300-$750. Email jdavidson@understood.org with 1-3 writing samples ideally focused on health topics or ADHD. Use [Freelance Writer - Your Name] as the subject line. 

APPLICATION CHECKLIST: Unless otherwise stated, include (1) a cover letter explaining how you meet the requirements or why you are the right fit for the job; (2) a one-paragraph summary of your relevant experience, credentials and publication credits; (3) your strongest clips or links to published work; and (4) a resume detailing your writing experience.
