Remote Senior Copywriter wanted | $80 to $84 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR COPYWRITER:

• Conceive and execute campaigns, produce creative assets, and develop ideas for how our brands value propositions and positioning comes to life

• Partner across the company—with brand strategists, product and technology professionals, producers, customer engagement specialists and more—to develop a deep understanding of our brands

• Help lead and mentor the creative team

• Collaborate with a Senior Art Director partner to concept ideas and help lead and direct projects

• Leverage insights that solve strategic problems

• Guide writing to craft meaningful and inspiring work

• Present work to senior creative leadership and executives

• Evangelize for the power of great creative work to shift perception and drive results

• Work with external partners and agencies, as well as a global team

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR COPYWRITER:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a related role

• High quality copywriting skills

• Experience with travel or hotel brands highly preferred

• Ability to execute copy across all channels (email, social, materials, video)

• Experience with the application of brand tone and voice

• Ability to edit copy to be concise, direct, and clear

• Ability to use critical thinking to solve problems

• Ability to produce high quality work under pressure and with quick turn around

• Experience with tech or adjacent fields

• Ability to take complex ideas and understand them quickly

Please note contractors are engaged to provide services to Expedia Group on a temporary basis in connection with a specific assignment. Contractors are hired and employed through Atrium, our third-party payrolling partner.
