Jennifer M. Wood, Editor in Chief of LateNighter, is looking for pitches:
I'm accepting pitches for LateNighter — a new site dedicated to the business of late night TV (past, present, and future). Please be sure to visit the site to see the kinds of stories we're publishing before pitching.
Payments generally range from $50-75 (for short, news-type) stories to $500+ for longform features. Pitches can be emailed to jennifer at latenighter dot com and include "pitch" in the subject line. If the topic is extremely timely, can note that in the subject line as well.
Stories I'm most interested in: reported pieces about late-night trends, memorable moments in late-night history, profiles/interviews with the people shaping today's late night landscape. We're looking for unique takes and people who can write with authority on the topic.
Am not looking for op-eds or personal essays (unless you are writing from the perspective of someone who works on a late-night show).
