Katie Corvino, VP of Editorial at Betches, is looking for writers:
I am looking to connect with news freelance writers for Betches who are interested in writing political content (SEO, opinion pieces, explainers) ahead of the election. Please email me with some writing samples at katiecorvino@betches.com.
In terms of rate, it depends on the piece but ranges usually will be from $200-$400 for what we're looking for.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST: Unless otherwise stated, include (1) a cover letter explaining how you meet the requirements or why you are the right fit for the job; (2) a one-paragraph summary of your relevant experience, credentials and publication credits; (3) your strongest clips or links to published work; and (4) a resume detailing your writing experience.
