They are looking for smart, well-researched pieces that dive deep into fan culture, covering topics beyond the basic fandom 101. Whether you're a journalist or a fan with a passion for writing, they welcome pitches that offer a unique argument or point of view.
What They Publish: Past pieces have included in-depth analyses of fan creativity, the intersection of fan culture and corporate interests, the evolution of Tumblr communities, and more. Articles typically range from 2,000 to 4,000 words.
Payment: $250 per piece.
