Remote Email and SMS Copywriter wanted | $50 to $100 per hour

If you’ve got a sharp sense of humor and more ideas than you know what to do with, we’ll find a place to put them. We’re searching for someone who can walk the tightrope between driving performance and keeping our irreverent brand voice intact.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute hilarious, high performing email and SMS campaigns

• Write 2-3 highly engaging emails and SMS campaigns per week that drive opens, clicks, conversions and replies at rates that wildly outpace other email programs

• Ideate and champion creative for email automations and flows

• Work with channel owners and graphic designers to effectively communicate brand voice through various channels

• Conceptualize engaging and entertaining weekly SMS content

• Actively run and participate in brainstorming sessions for various creative opportunities across the business

• Occasional Other Asks: Elevate current branding through product descriptions, paid social advertisements, print campaigns, and various other aspects of the business. Support public relations efforts crafting humor-driven stories and headlines that amplify our brand.

• Proven ability to create clever, funny content that helps achieve business goals (sales) and brand objectives (entertaining the audience)

• Works with a sense of urgency and demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances

• Detail oriented

• The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

• Excellent communication; writing and speaking

• Exceptional spelling and grammar

Education and Experience:

• Ability to prove how you can accomplish the essential duties and responsibilities of this role
