THE ROLE
We are seeking an exceptional talent to fill the role of Senior Content Strategist and Copywriter, focusing on B2B content creation within the management consulting sector. This independent contractor position is for a 2+ year project with a contractual commitment from us. We want to hear from you if you’re among the best in your field.
This position offers industry-leading compensation ranging from $220K - $260K per year ($105 to $125 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and proven track record) and based on your appetite to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week).

PROJECT DETAILS:
Work with our team to lead our internal social media content strategy and copywriting efforts, focusing on articulating complex business concepts and strategies in compelling ways for our Global 500 C-level senior executive audience of clients and their key stakeholders. This role requires a blend of management consulting industry experience, storytelling prowess, and technical know-how in content creation and SEO as it applies to two key platforms only (the web and LinkedIn), complemented by a collaborative and innovative approach.
We have a distinct brand voice and are not looking for this position to develop one for us. The function of this role is to take a robust content calendar that already exists, create the content on that calendar as pre-determined by our quarterly client executive surveys, and adopt our distinct brand voice and declared point-of-view on a myriad of applicable topics to bring key, compelling, insightful, and valued content to our client and industry stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong B2B Professional Services Background: Proven B2B experience, ideally in our operational industries.
Exemplary Writing Skills: Exceptional ability to craft compelling, clear, and concise copy tailored to a senior executive audience.
Management Consulting Acumen: Background in consulting and C-level audiences in Global 500, indicating an ability to understand and articulate business strategies and industry trends in a compelling, concise, culturally-aware and meaningful way for our time-starved audience.
Natural Storytelling Ability: Skill in weaving narratives that engage and persuade professional audiences.
Proven ChatGPT4 Experience: Experience with using AI tools like ChatGPT4 to enhance content quality and efficiency (not to use ChatGPT4 to repackage stale content.
Understanding of SEO Principles: Knowledge of SEO best practices for LinkedIn and corporate websites (and know the differences). You really need to be a master on the LinkedIn algorithm, which we know well.
Analytical and Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and translate complex data into understandable content.
Adaptability and Versatility: Competence in creating various forms of content and adapting to different platforms and audience preferences (the functionality and algorithmic impact of LinkedIn posts vs. LinkedIn Articles; dos and don’ts of both; the SEO and hyperlink variances between native web content vs. LinkedIn content, and so on – you need to know this extremely well).
Professional, Polished Collaborative Spirit: Experience working with marketing teams and C-suite stakeholders to align content with broader marketing goals.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage content calendars and coordinate with multiple parties for smooth content production and delivery.
Client-Focused Approach: Mindset prioritizing the needs and challenges of clients in content creation.
Innovative and Creative Thinking: Capacity to bring fresh ideas and stay ahead of industry trends.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
LOCATION: Remote with occasional travel for team meetings and client engagements.
