I wonder if he would still make these jokes in 2019?

Been watching Chris Rock since I was a teen. I didn't understand alot of his jokes the way I now believe he intended, but boy do I ever get them now.

I listen to a lot of Chris Rock. He’s pretty fearless, he doesn’t mind making fun of anything. He has since dived pretty deep into jokes about race and politics and I enjoy every minute of it.
Message he jokes about rings true though to a certain extent. That’s why having a backbone, while also keeping your ability to be kind and giving to others is essential.
Most women I ask out like to keep it at the friend level. I just tell them that I appreciate their honesty and I wish them good luck in the future. It’s a respectful way of letting her know that you are going to move on as well. I have never dealt with his ‘being your girlfriends psychiatrist’ problem because I shut that opportunity down when it comes. I only want to be with someone who is just as interested to be with me.
I am essentially trading sex for drama, and that choice has been good to me so far, despite me feeling lonely all the time.
