I commission film writing for i-D and I like people with interesting, thoughtful and left field ideas. If something’s been on your mind—films new or old—and you think the i-D audience would be interested in it, let me know.

No profiles unless your angle is particularly enlightening or you’re sure I haven’t heard of the subject. Unique reflections on what we’re watching. Deep interrogations on the cinema of the past. In line with i-D’s spirit: young, invigorating, with a bit of a hard edge.

We publish slowly and with intent, so if you can write the piece in 20 minutes it’s probably not for us. 50p per word for digital. Feel free to DM a brief idea of what you’re thinking and I’ll drop you an email if it sounds interesting.
