JRNY Magazine is seeking a freelance writer to participate in a private press trip to a European destination at the end of September. You must be able to take photos with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. To apply, send an email to submissions@jrnymag.com with the subject line “September Commission” by September 4th at 5 p.m. Compensation includes £1,300 for photos, four 1,000-word stories to be completed in 2025, and one 2,000-word article due by the end of the year.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST: Unless otherwise stated, include (1) a cover letter explaining how you meet the requirements or why you are the right fit for the job; (2) a one-paragraph summary of your relevant experience, credentials and publication credits; (3) your strongest clips or links to published work; and (4) a resume detailing your writing experience.
