THE ROLE:

OUAI is looking for a freelance Copywriter to support our Lead Copywriter in writing engaging copy that feels uniquely OUAI across multiple digital touchpoints including CRM, paid social & our digital DTC flagship. You’ll also work on digital collateral for our retail partners (including Amazon, Ulta Beauty, Sephora & international retailers) and podcast marketing partners as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

This person will get to think of engaging & fun ways to keep evergreen, “always on” messaging feel fresh & exciting and should have experience & enjoy flexing between different types of copywriting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll also help with digital exclusive initiatives including on-site promotions, product swaps and engaging the consumer through our loyalty program. You’ll work directly with the Lead Copywriter to receive assignments, talk through creative briefs & strategies and deliver on deadline. Position is 20 hours a week to start with an opportunity to expand.

  
REQUIREMENTS

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 2+ years of Copywriting experience

• An open mind and a sense of curiosity

• Creative, out-of-the-box thinking

• Experience in digital marketing copywriting and strategy

• Beauty industry experience is a plus

• Ongoing freelance opportunity, must be able to work up to 20 hours per week

• Remote work available, but candidates must be based within the U.S.

BENEFITS

• $60 - $70 per hour, depending on experience
