#MeToo makes men visible?

I haven't paid too much attention to this #MeToo campaign. However scrolling through my Facebook feed I saw someone had posted a list of ways that men can help. Are all men collectively held responsible for the actions of a few? One can't help but wonder what societies response would be if we held women collectively responsible for the actions of a few? Or imagine if we blamed all Asian people for the actions of a few North Korean dictators?

The list is here: https://www.facebook.com/nicole.stamp/posts/10156116595689341

I didn't read the whole list but I saw at the end it said this:

''Thanks for trying to be decent men. We see you.''

But are men really being seen? It seems like the price you have to pay to be visible to women is to care about women's issues and actively work towards making their lives better. Are men who talk about the issues facing men visible to women? Are they considered decent? Are they seen?

Interesting thing to ponder...
