Was doing some research and found this study. Apparently in couples aged 18-30, when there is nonreciprocal partner violence, 70% of the time it was initiated by the woman.

"A recent meta-analysis found that a woman’s perpetration of violence was the strongest predictor of her being a victim of partner violence." Uh oh... You mean women are ... kinda, sorta, sometimes, in-a-small-way ....TO BLAME for getting hit? No!!! haha. Having said that, every adult is responsible for having enough control over their emotional reactions that he or she chooses to walk away rather than hit back.
