This video could have been half as long and had a more balanced approach to the topic. It didn’t explore the cons nearly enough. I’m also not a big fan of these “draw quickly while talking” videos.

2019-10-07 00:47:53 +0000 UTCI like how it used evolution to explain the past, I just wish it had continued to use it for projecting the future. For example, yes, modern middle class people may have less interest in marriage, but they also seem to have less interest in having children. Evolutionary, that means those people will disappear in the geologic blink of an eye when compared to other cultures that place a higher priority on having lots of kids. I don't think we should predict future trends based on groups of people who choose to have few kids when there are other groups having lots of kids unless we can show that those other groups will not have as many kids in the future.
