Briony Edwards, Editor in Chief at Louder, is looking for pitches:
Louder is on the hunt for new writers. I am particularly interested in hearing from new and aspiring writers who may still be developing their voice, from backgrounds typically underrepresented by the alternative music press.
I am not massively interested in any previous bylines, degrees or qualifications – what I really care about is how well you write. If you’d like to get involved, please send a 200 word review of your album of the year to briony [dot] edwards [at] futurenet [dot] com
You can also send any pitches for consideration along with your writing example.
Rates are very variable depending on format etc. (some are per word and some are flat rate) but as a general guide our word rate is 10p (GBP) per word. No hard deadline, will be taking a look at pieces as and when they hit my inbox.
