Our rates range from $500/piece on essays and low-lift stories to $1/word on original reporting, with space in between for one-or-two interview follow-ups. We’re looking for exclusives, hot takes, fresh tellings of classic tales, satire, and even fiction — if it’s witty, brash, and irreverently Texan.
