I'm not entirely sure on this one, but the "white men listening to podcasts joke" is probably some slight accusing white men of being pretentiously out of touch. This point doesn't get brought up that often, but i've run into it a few times now, where as a white dude I'll be accused of informing myself through more elitist and intellectual means (aka. listening to podcasts and reading scientific studies). There's a certain segment of the left—especially with regards to gender discussions—that believe that traditional science is some sort of racist patriarchal construction. Thus, the idea of informing yourself through these "pretentious" means is funny to them because it conveys how "hopelessly" out of touch you are with their SJW reality and how you are upholding the very societal structures they are fighting against. I'm curious as to whether anybody has a different take because this is a fairly speculative theory.

Thanks for sharing your insights. There is this narrative about "go woke, go broke" and I am not sure how real it is. I think what we are seeing is what a recent article described as "luxury belief market", a new status symbol to show you belong to a chosen elite, like Channels bags. I don't like Aaron Clarey too much but he has this good video on how evil sells when Dove feature a morbidly obese woman in an ad. If you are machiavellan, you could exploit this new market and get rich. If I had to pitch an idea there it would be this: a marketplace for female coders so tech companies can outsource some of their tasks to females and increase their diversity (word salad), little they know every single profile is fake and the work is real but done in India. Go woke, go millionaire.

Bloody hell, those pitches are completely ridiculous. I wish we discussed the abortion topic today actually. It's such a fascinating topic, especially if you try to discuss males having the ability to financially abort.
