As a 24 yo guy I often wish I could've had this insight to ask myself such question, I've been focusing a lot on monogamous relationships and it's often draining, not to say that it's wrong, but especially now with my career choice (applying for atpl courses next year) I would be open with approaching relationships in the future, unless I meet someone who's willing to partially adapt to my career schedule.

The outlook would greatly depend on how confident you are in the dating game. The strategy would be to get to know yourself a lot better, the things you like and don’t like in a relationship and practice just like what was said in this video. I know it’s hard right now considering this whole social distancing period but you can try to talk to girls online, commuting in person. Start small and slow and gradually build up to what you want out of the relationship.

Can you describe the outlook and general strategy for a mid-twenties man who made the "unaffordable" mistake of avoiding dating/sex/relationships his whole life, but now wishes to enter the dating market? Is it really dating, though, if you are just having fun with a girl? I know my coworkers and I don't really see it as dating when High Schoolers go out with each other, and I don't see what you are describing as much different, even if it is in University.
