Hey! digital nomad here for about 4 years (about 8years independently based), I m 36yo guy n have similar issues, there is a big fact not mentioned in this video n its that the 90% of already minority of women who u will find as Digital Nomads (DN) are such social butterfly that is annoying getting close... Now the brigh tnote: I have done a couple of adjustments so far that lemme mitigate this issues: i- go slow (3 months minimum in cities), 2- chose a few cities and go there every year (you can travel to new cities for vacation tho), iii- chose the weather u want to attend in those cities, in my case I do May-Nov anything in Europe, outside those months I am in my SEAsian or Latam bases... As someone who briefly participated in digital nomadism, I'm inclined to think his traveling is more spontaneous. However, there are a few digital nomad "hubs" around the world that tend to be preferred - cities with good tourism infrastructure, relatively low living costs, fast internet, high degree of multilingualism among the locals, etc.

Really enjoyed this. And I like your advice about being open to the possibility of creating a "3rd kind of lifestyle" together with a good woman that maybe neither of you had considered (rather than only thinking of finding a woman to slot into your existing lifestyle). I don't know how many in his situation have pulled that off, but it's intriguing. I also think it's cool that if he's living for months at a time in multiple locations, he's getting to see the pros and cons of a variety of places. After experiencing the variety, he may be able to settle with some stability in one of his favorite locations.

Is this guy travelling around in a circuit or just randomly picking places to live every 3 months etc? If there's a structure to his "meanderings", for want of a better word, the type of advice would be very different compared to if he was just flying by the seat of his pants...
