2019-12-08 23:52:26 +0000 UTCI think this has to do with how much women rely on each other for emotional support. @Alexander, you mentioned in a previous video that was about men interrupting women how men talk to share information, and women talk to bond. I personally am a woman who shares EVERYTHING about my love life with my best friend, and she does the same with me. Reflecting on this, I realize that talking about situations allows us to relive the emotions associated with them. Men have the largest influence on our emotions, and our love lives are where we experience the most intense emotions (both positive and negative). Because women crave intense emotions, talking about men allows us to 1. relive the intense emotions caused by said men, and 2. receive validation from expressing our emotions to another woman who actually understands our feelings.

I get the feeling they just talk about this because they want to make sure they are with someone who is of high quality. If their boyfriend is not meeting the standards, they can bounce it off of their friends to get clarification and get advice.
