hahahah perfect comment man. i noticed this sometime ago that women get in assault mode when you disagree with them or do opposite what they want to hear

Well, Alexander's video BEGAN with acknowledging that women face challenges. Then went on to ask the question, "Is society now in a place where we can hear and acknowledge the challenges of men?" Her post essentially said, "No... I cannot hear them. I don't want to." Which is really sad.

Pretty sad that this is what a lot people (mostly women)would feel after seeing this video. It was well done and not dismissive of women whatsoever. More than a lack of empathy it seems impossible for this person to put herself in others' people shoes. I would say it is a combination of what is shown in the current narrative in the media, that women suffer a lot from evil men, but also no motivation to alter this truth. When we face problems it is hard to stand up and see that an the end of the we may be not that bad. To me it's the same as if I would be super disappointed at a restaurant, and not even appreciate that I can afford a restaurant in the first place, comparing to a lot of other people in the world. Oh, and I would bet she passed the wall or is close to it and cannot attract a high value man, so she complains.

Exactly. She is the embodiment of the lack of empathy from women. Another thing that I hate is how most women don't seem to be able to take part in the discussion without feeling attacked. It makes it almost impossible to have a serene and reasonable discussion in these conditions.

I think she did miss the point, the beggining of the video agrees that there are challenges women face, then outlines some challenges men face & that women typically aren't empathetic to these difficulties. Her response just dismissed it & focussed on the unfair treatment of women, it's a one way street for her.

I am not sure she missed the point. I think there is substance for discussion there. Its just the tone that she missed :)

David Koerner

Sooo... ummm... yeah... I think she missed the point.

females only have to be not very fat or extremely ugly. men have to be rich/tall/muscularish/facial structure/stoic.

PersonOfNose

Men and women are held to ridiculous standards. The difference is that society is aware of the "beauty" standard applied to women, but there's not much attention to the "success" standard applied to men.

DC

Yeah, her tone is really toxic.

Agreed

John Tuccitto

There's nothing really untrue about what she says, but her tone is off-putting. She's the type of person you don't want on your side.
