We're seeking a skilled senior writer with a deep understanding of software engineering and coding to craft engaging, developer-focused blog pieces for one of our clients. This role is more than a single assignment; it's an entry point to Vested's VCo System, offering ongoing opportunities to work on exciting and impactful content projects.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Skilled writer with 4+ years of experience in technical writing or software engineering (or both)
Current or former software engineer or developer with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an accessible and compelling way
Experience writing content that resonates with software engineers and tech-savvy audiences
Skilled in showcasing cutting-edge tech concepts and solutions while maintaining technical accuracy
Stays current with emerging technologies and actively engages with discussions and trends within the tech and engineering community
Familiar with engineering blogs such as American Express Technology, Capital One Tech Blog, Google Developers Blog, Engineering at Meta, Slack Engineering, and GitHub Engineering Blog
PROJECT DETAILS:
Location: United States
Duration: Ongoing, starting immediately through the end of the year
Task: Develop approximately 3-5 pieces of content, with topics and lengths to be confirmed.
Project Compensation: $100-175/hour
EXPECTATIONS:
Collaborate closely with the project team, aligning with the client's vision and requirements.
Flexibility to join additional meetings and sessions as needed.
