Where has my YouTube channel gone?

Great information for myself, married almost 10 years now with 3 kids. The financial struggle is real! Especially because I am the sole provider. It's so hard to convince the wife to downsize when you need a bigger vehicle to transport 3 baby seats!

I have been thinking about you eversince your channel got compromised, i hope you are doing ok and can heal from this even if that will take some time to do! Ahh man, I am sorry to hear this... Hope they can recover this, I mean if they are malevolent and deleting content and when it says the videos/channel is deleted permanently I won't believe that for sure since only the shallow copy is being deleted and usually those enterprises keep their stuff from the users but hidden... and if it's worst case I am feeling very sorry for you but you can rebuild even if that sucks but you are a public figure now I mean you had like somewhat 300k subs or even more, so at least the hockey-stick-curve will kick immediately in if we are help you to promote the new one we can even try to have most subs in a month or week on that platform... long speech by me here but the quintessence is "Heads up" and a crisis usually holds also the solution... you're awesome man... good luck!

I searched for your channel on youtube and couldn't find it and then went through a 200 video long Playlist and couldn't find your videos. Searched a more specific video, nothing. Searched on Google nothing, so here I am. I hope all your content is returned to you.

I hear about these sorts of things and my tinfoil hat goes right on. Hackers want to make money. They must be pretty bad hackers to leave such trail that YouTube found and acted on it. But YouTube itself... Their agenda to censor and control has been very apparent for a very long time. Maybe what they can't disincentivize enough via demonetization, they manage to concoct a story about? We live in an age of conspiracy theories *because* we live in an age of actual conspiracies. I wonder which one this is...

I have made backups of the youtube videos, but only until last March. You never know with censorship and cancel culture... But dammit, I got lazy after that...

Agreed, there was a wealth of knowledge there. I remember taking notes from both the videos and people's advice in the comments. Then again, a reboot can offer fresh perspectives with new (old) video releases and new comments.

Judging by that ecample, your channel will probably take pretty big hit in terms of views and search ranking even after it is recovered. I believe the main strategy is to appeal the removal while also raising awareness to hopefully get a person at YouTube to see your problem vs. not being able to raise above the noise that the algorithms will suppress. I'm not aware of a specific hacking case but channels that have been removed for automated content enforcement have successfully used there twitter or other social channels to raise awareness of their problem and get their accounts restored.
