The Beautylish creative team is seeking an Editorial Writer to contribute short- and long-form content to engage and inform our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pitch editorial ideas to the Creative Producer
Write short- and long-form editorial pieces for our website
Assist the Creative and Marketing Teams with editorial content/projects as needed

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

4+ years experience in writing or content marketing with a strong portfolio
Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the beauty industry
Ability to conduct research to ensure factual and accurate editorial
Strong writing skills with a clear voice
Able to meet deadlines and submit polished pieces

SCOPE OF WORK & COMPENSATION:

1-2 pieces monthly
General Articles: $80/ea (~500 words or less)
In-depth articles: $150/ea (typically over 500 words)

ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS:

1099 contract position, U.S. only
Remote/work from home
Primary contact with west coast-based Creative Producer

Applicants who demonstrate potential fit for the Beautylish brand will pitch ideas to the Creative Producer. Successful pitches will complete a single, paid assignment for evaluation. If the article meets publication standards, an ongoing contract may be offered.
