Pitches wanted (Bay Area issues) | $300 per article

Dan Gentile, Senior Culture Editor at SFGate, is looking for pitches:
I'm a big fan of NYC Subway Takes, and not to rip them off, but I very much welcome some freelance pitches that are (educated/nuanced/fun) rants on Bay Area issues big/small. Rates = $300. Writers, hit me on the email.
This means dating, etiquette, transportation, music, art, history, everyday annoying things, infrastructure complaints, policy things. BUT you've gotta back up your Take, and send an example of an essay that shows your writing voice.
