Business Insider’s health and parenting section is seeking personal essay pitches about the following topics: stories about being an older parent, navigating parenting while returning to work, having side jobs as a parent or retiree, dating someone with different views on having kids, unexpected friendships, how money/wealth has affected friendships/relationships, being part of the sandwich generation/caregiving for family members while raising kids, not following milestones in relationships in the traditional order, retiring early or deciding not to retire, deciding to have kids so your parent could be a grandparent, coming to terms with the idea of not being a grandparent, and any other interesting personal or relationship story related to health and/or parenting. Chances are, if you and people you know are talking about something, it’s something other people want to hear about, too. Rates start at $225 for about 600 words.
