In the singles (dating/hookup/relationship seeking) community, there is definitely an exchange of views on values which can lead to personal attacks. It is an interesting dynamic and I am enjoying carving out my niche by being polarizing with both women and men. Thank you for adding another tool to my tool box. As for your point on groups, there is no doubt I feel more buant in the singles community as my personal tribe strengthens. I believe we can add your "men are islands and women are boats" metaphor to this concept. Building my tribe is part of building my island. Being satisfied with my island: with what has been built; being built; and will be built, keeps me grounded enough to be cognizant of the difference between a woman showing interest in my island versus a woman inviting me to hop into her boat. This power to discern prunes out a lot of bullshit and bullshitters. Thank you brother.
