Compensation range: $100 - $300 per article, dependent on length and complexity

Length of contract: One year (with possibility to extend)

Are you passionate about audiovisual (AV) technology and eager to share the latest industry insights with a global audience? AVIXA is seeking a talented writer to join our team on a contract basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation: Write and deliver at least four high-quality articles each month, including a monthly AV news roundup.

Research: Conduct thorough research on AV topics to ensure content is factual, engaging, and informative. Gather information from subject matter experts when necessary.

SEO Optimization: Craft content that is optimized for search engines to increase visibility and reach.

Collaboration: Work remotely and independently while effectively communicating with our editorial team.

Project Management: Utilize project management systems to track writing assignments and meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional Writing Experience: Previous work published in blogs or news outlets.

Research Skills: Strong ability to research and explain complex AV topics and find accurate sources.

Experience in SEO Content Writing: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO. Bonus points for a proven ability to write content that ranks.
