Learn more about the publication: Open City is an online magazine operated by the Asian American Writers' Workshop that publishes real-time narratives exploring the experiences of Asian American and immigrant communities in New York City. It covers topics such as social justice, culture, and neighborhood stories, featuring essays, reportage, and interviews that highlight underrepresented voices. The magazine seeks to document the vibrant life and challenges of these communities, providing a platform for emerging writers to share their perspectives.
