Business Insider’s health and parenting section is seeking personal essay pitches about the following topics: stories about being an older parent, dating someone with different views on having kids, unexpected friendships, parenting regrets, how money/wealth has affected friendships/relationships, being part of the sandwich generation/caregiving for family members while raising kids, not following milestones in relationships in the traditional order, workplace relationships, retiring early or deciding not to retire, stories about being in relationships/friendships with very different people, deciding to have kids so your parent could be a grandparent, coming to terms with the idea of not being a grandparent, living apart while in a long-term relationship, and any other interesting personal or relationship story related to health and/or parenting. Chances are, if you and people you know are talking about something, it’s something other people want to hear about, too. Rates start at $225 for about 600 words.
