Wanting your kids to look like you, wanting to associate with people like yourself and showing preference to people of your own tribe and wanting to reproduce your own race is one of the most natural instincts there is. We see this attitude literally in every single race of people and species of animal. (see Similarity Attraction Theory and Genetic Similarity Theory) I did a research paper on this in college.
