Copywriter wanted | 10-12 cents per word

COMPANY/PUBLICATION: UPLIFT MARKETING

We are looking for an experienced copywriter who is also comfortable with conducting client interviews. Must be able to plan various types of content for our clients based on their marketing objectives as well as write the copy based on these plans. Types of content could include websites, blog articles, vlog articles, autoresponders, marketing emails and possibly other items.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Conducting in-depth client phone interviews to establish the goals, target audience and other pertinent details of a specific digital marketing project.

• Based on the client interview, drafting a formal outline of the type of content to be created, its purpose, use, target audience and desired outcome for a specific marketing project. In some cases, a content calendar may also be needed.

• Writing the content based on the formal outline.

• Interacting with clients via email or phone to schedule interviews, obtain approval on content outlines and answer questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a competent copywriter with an excellent vocabulary and knowledge of correct grammar, syntax and punctuation.

• Must have experience with marketing and be very familiar with the established best practices of distinctly different types of content such as website copy, landing pages, autoresponder text and emails, direct sales letters, blog articles, email marketing, etc.

• Must be able to provide samples of different types of content you have written.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

The job will begin part-time and if it’s a good fit, can rapidly become a full-time position. You must be available between 9am and 6pm Central time and do not need to live in the US. Pay is $25-$30 per hour or $0.105-$0.12/word depending on the project.
