POSITION SUMMARY
As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll be at the heart of concepting and crafting compelling brand narratives. You bring a strategic mindset, a sharp creative voice, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and persuasive messaging. Working closely with an Art Director, you’ll develop high-impact creative that not only resonates with audiences but also drives results.
This is a full-time freelance role, requiring 40 hours per week, with an anticipated duration of approximately six months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Concept & Execution: Partner with Art Directors to develop bold, strategic, and insight-driven creative across multiple platforms.
Storytelling: Craft compelling, brand-aligned narratives that connect emotionally and effectively with target audiences.
Messaging Development: Deliver clear, concise, and engaging copy that aligns with campaign objectives and brand voice.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers, strategists, and creative teams to ensure messaging and visuals work seamlessly together.
Editing & Refinement: Ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all copy.
Presentation & Client Interaction: Confidently present and defend creative work to internal teams and clients.
Mentorship: Help guide junior copywriters, providing feedback and support to elevate the team’s creative output.
Adaptability: Thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of agency or in-house experience in copywriting or content development.
A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, storytelling, and brand voice development.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
Experience writing across digital, social, print, and video formats.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Mac software and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
