Documentary Writer wanted | $350 to $600 per script
Added 2025-04-08 17:17:32 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: ABUNDANTIA
Deadline: 8 April 2025
Our company is looking for a full-time scriptwriter working on a 1-per-week basis to write scripts approximately 15-25 minutes long for a faceless documentary style YT channel. The channel is undergoing a rebrand, though at present has 750K+ subscribers, and will be restarting after a hiatus after 1+ years of not publishing content. We have a history of generating nearly 100M views on Youtube with long-form documentary style content, and growing channels to 500K+ subscribers in just several months. Think content like Jake Tran, fern, Seach Party, Moon, etc.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Candidate must have significant experience writing scripts for documentary-style channels with a clear history of success (have achieved 1M+ video views regularly on scripts you've written).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
You must understand the psychology of scriptwriting, be able to work guided based on our requirements and outline of the video, be able to keep a user engaged/hooked throughout the video, be able to accurately and consistently attach references to your scripts for the editors to work off (for example, linking to where you found certain information so the editors can possibly incorporate articles/imagery in the video itself) etc. You should also be able to turn around a script relatively quickly, though we're not in a huge rush. Turnaround time should be within a week.
