Meredith Turits accepts pitches for features (1,000–1,200 words) and featurettes (750–1,000 words) that explore topics at the intersection of sports, business, and culture. Both evergreen and time-sensitive pitches are welcome, but each must include a clear business angle. Pitches should also mention any source access already secured and must avoid open-ended questions. The rate is approximately $0.50 per word, assigned as a flat fee upon commission. Pitches should be sent to meredith@frontofficesports.com with “PITCH” in the subject line.
