Christie Rotondo, Senior Editor at Vox Creative, is looking for pitches:
Vox Creative, the branded content division of Vox Media, is looking for local writers open to assignments in the food, drink, and travel space. They regularly produce Eater heatmaps and Thrillist local guides for clients across the United States — and occasionally beyond — and are aiming to expand their roster of local contributors.
Rates vary by project, but typically start at $750 for maps and guides featuring around 15 venues. They are especially interested in writers based in Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Detroit, Cincinnati, Denver, Portland (OR), the San Francisco Bay Area, Austin, Dallas, and Houston, though writers from all major U.S. cities are welcome to apply.
Writers of color and LGBTQ writers are strongly encouraged to respond. Interested applicants should email their bio and 2–3 relevant clips to christie.rotondo@voxmedia.com with the subject line: Local Writer Pitch From [YOUR CITY].
